Dr Steve Green's Indiana roots run deep, and include not only dentistry but a successful sports career. First recruited by Indiana University Hall of Fame Coach Bob Knight, Green became a two-time All-American basketball player, and later played professional for ABA and NBA teams culminating with the Indian Pacers. He has been inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, and serves on organization's board.
Following his basketball career, Dr. Green enrolled in the Indiana University's School of Dentistry in 1980, and established his dental practice in Indianapolis in 1984. As his practice grew, so did his commitment to and involvement in the community. Today, he remains active in a range of both community and professional associations. He serves on the board of the Indiana Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (IFDH), and is president of the Indiana chapter of Donated Dental Services, part of the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (NFDH), He is also active with ARC of Indiana, an advocacy group for people with developmental disabilities.
Dr. Green's professional affiliations and memberships include the American Academy of Dental Sleep, American Academy of Sleep, American Academy of Orofacial Pain, American Headache Society, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association. Dr. Green continues to combines his twin passion for dentistry and sports through public speaking and presentations to a wide range of organizations. He is married with three children, is committed to maintaing and active, healthy lifestyle and is dedicated to serving his patients and his community.
Among his other activities, Dr. Green is also the Chairman and host of the annual Arc of Indiana Golf Tournament fundraiser.Meet the Team>
